This course will help me to gain insight into another aspect of teaching. Student-focused and culturally-sensitive teaching should be the goal of every educator. We are here for our students, not ourselves, so it only makes sense that we would try to better our perceptions and master ways to be helpful to them. We need to understand where there is opportunity for improvement. I want to serve students to the best of my ability. I think this course will help me to do that.
